I stripped a screw right off the bat. Couldn’t then screw it in far enough to put the plug in the screw hole. Not sturdy, I got the white painted one and paint job is abhorrent. I’m 73 and I can paint better . A bit flimsy and not what I expected. I ordered over the internet and never again. Cheazzy

I bought this shelf to accomodate a set of 13 inch tall books (you wouldnt believe how difficult it is to find a shelving unit with shelves taller than 13 inches!!). I received it today and assembled it in 15-20 minutes, the instructions are very simple and straight-forward and the only took I needed that wasn’t included was a philips screwdriver. This shelf is exactly what I wanted and expected.

Elegant look, function and has a solid wood look and feel. I ordered the tall bookshelf for my home office. I was looking for furniture that was modern and did not make the office feel “heavy”. I took a chance on this product based on the pictures and feedback, and I am glad I did.
Product has a solid wood-like look and feel. I have textbooks from college I wanted to keep as reference, and the shelves are strong and does not sag even with stone book ends.
Originally purchased one bookcase, just to see if I’d like it and once assembled, I ordered two more!
This line of furniture is a great value. Once we put the initial bookcase together, the others took less than 10 minutes. If you are looking for function, quality and value, I recommend you try this line. Product looks like the picture and the ‘open’ decorative ends, gives it a modern feel.

I purchased two of these bookshelves for my kitchen redo. Having a small kitchen I needed to come up with a creative idea to maximize space and minimize clutter. I love the idea of an island, but did not like the idea of having room in the kitchen permanently impeded by an island, these worked out beautifully. I have them tucked under a wall mounted counter and when I need additional counter/work space I pull them out and butt them back to back and voila … a kitchen island!
