Almost the full range of motion I wanted. Didn’t realize it doesn’t lift upwards. I think the assumption was the highest position needed would be ergonomically if a user was sitting down. I use this for a third monitor on a side desk. The two main monitors are attached to my standing desk so they go up and down with me. I was hoping this would extend upwards as well. I was able to compensate by attaching to a riser and it’s still not quite high enough when standing. But better than just on the stand it came with.
Other pluses: very sturdy. Arm movement is stiff without counter weight. Once monitor was installed movement was very smooth. Option to attach via grommet and clamp.
