I have had this shelf over a year now. It’s not of poor quality, is easy to assemble, and is durable. It has withstood being a shelf for plants (wiping water spills soon after) and cats who think it’s theirs to climb. It is now a bookshelf in my office. I would purchase again.

The color is described as dark espresso and the color in the picture also looks brown. However when it arrived this bookshelf was clearly black. I have other dark espresso furniture to compare this product to. I didn’t put this together, it was returned.
