I would consider this shelving, not a true “bookcase” it isn’t made for a lot of books. The box arrived wet and damaged, there was a crack but hopefully glue will take care of it.

More than a little assembly required. And directions for assembly were not clear. Again, reinforcing my suspicions that when companies order this type of product from overseas…in this case made in Thailand…no one EVER actually tests the product or assembly process and directions

Nice bookcase, but very flimsy, not sturdy. Several of the boards were warped. It seems to need a diagonal brace in the back After being put together, one leg was short. Using a level, we put several felt pads under that leg to make the bookcase sit level.

For the price comparison to other stores, I expected better quality. Several scratches, holes didn’t line up, had to drill new ones for the top to fit, the stain/paint was incomplete and two of the side bars where bent. Would not buy again.

This is a good product with one exception–the company placed a sticker in the middle of the shelf that states ” do not remove”. No one wants a sticker placed in the middle of a piece of nice furniture.

This bookcase is exactly as advertised and then some! It’s a beautiful finish and is sturdy. Plenty of style and feels nice to the touch, not at all cheap.
