Great desk (with a hutch!) that doesn’t take up the whole room. Big enough… but not too big! Spent a long time deciding on this, worried it wouldn’t fit all my monitors (2 large monitors and one laptop). But everything fits! The two monitors did have to be angled to fit, but still works great. Took my husband about a hour to put together. Has been very sturdy so far!

I love the look of this: very open and professional looking. It’s well made and doesn’t feel cheap. I miss having drawers, but I got some baskets with lids for the shelves. The assembly was fairly easy. My suggestion, though, is to assemble the hutch separately and then attach it. The way they have in the instructions, you build the hutch after it’s attached to the desk, but you can’t fit the screwdriver under the shelf to screw on the shelf base. Made no sense.

This is a very solid, well designed and built, nice looking desk. However, the assembly instructions contain several errors. When you get to Step 6, stop and do Step 7 first (attach piece 12 to piece 9) then do Step 6. Otherwise, unless you have a perfect stubby Phillips you will be unable to do Step 7! Also, there are W-7 screws not mentioned in the instructions and which must be used last of all, run up through Piece 13 into Piece 14, also omitted from the instructions.

The desk itself is a very nice desk if you have all the correct pieces. I however did not and was unable to build the shelf on the left side due to a wrong leg piece being sent. There is no phone number provided for customer service by this company only an email address. Neither of my emails have been responded to or acknowledged. Needed the desk right away so it was not worth taking completely apart and returning back to I am just using it without the shelf on the left side.

Took maybe two hours for me and a family member to put together, and most of that was spent triple checking the instructions before we started screwing something together. The desk did come with some extra screws that weren’t in the instruction packet (labelled w-7), but those may be for a version with a particleboard middle support beam instead of the metal bar I received. So essentially, I now have two new screws and no harm was done. I do advise that you attach the metal beams (number 9) to the monitor shelf (number 12) before you attach it to the side pieces (number 10) because it makes it so much easier to put together. We didn’t and ended up dropping the board onto the floor and almost my toes.
