Great product, had a code on the box to watch a put it together video but no printed instructions. Had to go online and search awhile for a pdf instruction guide. It is still the best particle board bookcase I have ever gotten.

The backing was in small individual pieces the size of each shelf, the finish on the outside was cracked, the dowel rods for connecting the shelves were flimsy.

I was initially excited to see that they have an assembly video linked via QR code on the box. Nope, just a direct pdf download of the directions that are already included in the box. The next part that was disappointing was that the weight rating for the shelves is only 10 lbs per shelf, which I’m well past before the shelf is half full! This thing is rated to hold less weight than what it weighs empty. Finally, the edges of the veneer were not cleaned up after gluing, so I had to go through with a razor blade and clean up everything. I’m not expecting to get blown away, but I would find this quality from a bookcase half this price. On the positive side, it’s a simple and clean look once it I put it in place, and will do until I make a better one.

Pretty solid and was fairly simple to put together. Backing is gray not white as described. After taking to company that shouldn’t have happened and would take up to 8 weeks for the right parts. Ordered another and the same thing. We ended up purchasing paneling since without it isn’t as sturdy. Just beware of that’s important to you.

This a nice low budget bookcase that holds a fair amount.But it was difficult to assemble and the instructions are only pictures. I would recommend putting the back on last, not in the numbered order because the decorative pieces need to be screwed in. The screws are exposed on the sides and the stickers that are supposed to cover them look cheap. All in all it’s a good looking piece for rec room storage.

This is beautiful but each shelf has a 10 pound weight limit. Most of my books are hard covered and just a few weigh more than 10 pounds.

I still don’t have it! First order arrived broken in half. Lowe’s required me to take the 80 lb package to the nearest store to get a refund (I ordered it delivered so I wouldn’t have to carry it home in my small car). I immediately reordered a new one which is still not delivered a week past the new promised date, further Lowe’s cannot give me a new delivery status. They claim they don’t know why it can’t be delivered. It took me over a half hour on hold to find that out.

We put this together in about two hours . If you don’t have a power screwdriver your going to have very sore arms. There are a ton of screws. It looks good once together.

This is a crazy flimsy bookcase made from subpar material. Granted it’s pressed fiberboard or whatever and not wood, but the laminate sides cracked when putting the wood dowel parts in. The white bookcase came with BLACK screws which looked horrible on top of the cracked laminate. We switched out to white decking screws because that’s what we had. We didn’t put the back on. Hubs was convinced the panels youre supposed to tack on the back wouldn’t firm it up as much as was needed so he put 2×4 down the length of the back on both sides to give it some stability.
We are using it as a temp. measure only until I can figure out something better. Then it’ll be a curb alert.
